Breast Augmentation

Breast Augmentation enhances breast size with a saline or a silicone implant. Augmentations are done to create a larger breast or to refill a breast that has lost volume after childbearing or weight loss. Scars are small and hidden. Most implants are placed under the muscle. Surgery is done under general anesthesia as an outpatient. Most patients can return to work in 7-10 days, but some restrictions on vigorous activities are in place for as long as 6 weeks. All implants have a limited lifespan. At best, implants need exchange in 10-20 years.
